The challenge
Tyman plc, a leading international supplier of engineered components for the door and window industry, faced a critical challenge in 2023: effectively communicating their resilience and strategic initiatives amid economic uncertainties. The annual report objective was to address the complexities of their diverse product offering and sustainability initiatives, emphasising Tyman’s market leadership and investment appeal. This necessitated a strategic shift in the company’s narrative to showcase their adeptness at navigating the global landscape with a focus on core strengths, growth, innovation and sustainability.
Our approach
The project began with agreeing on a narrative theme focused on investment case, marketplace insights, sustainability messaging and growth narrative. To achieve this, we crafted a narrative that highlighted market opportunities and Tyman’s dominant market position, enhancing stakeholder confidence. We shifted the content to specific insights into market dynamics, trends and strategic responses, providing a clearer understanding of Tyman’s strategic manoeuvres and future growth potential. Additionally, we simplified the narrative around Tyman’s diverse product portfolio, emphasising the value proposition to end-users. Sustainability was embedded into the business strategy, aligning with global trends towards responsible business practices and demonstrating Tyman’s commitment to ESG targets and sustainable development.
